Pain Specialist/Physical Medicine Rehab Physician

Full or Part time

The Physician is to assess patients (including medical histories and physical examinations); make diagnoses related to pain conditions; initiate/manage treatment plans via prepare physician orders, request/evaluate/interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, provide patient education, and perform office-based injections and other procedures as a Rehabilitation medicine specialist or for interventional pain management specialist.

Position Qualifications:

  • Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Licensed or license eligible Practitioner in the state of Minnesota –OR–Current license as a Physician by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA Certification for the state of Minnesota

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Pain Management

The position is for full or part time where provider can determine their own schedule within the scope of MIPM clinic hours (clinic hours Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm; Saturday option available upon discussion). MIPM is currently located in Roseville with a satellite clinic in Burnsville (This opportunity is to work at either/both).

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Full or Part time

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is to assess patients (including medical histories and physical examinations); make diagnoses related to pain conditions; initiate/manage treatment plans via prepare physician orders, request/evaluate/interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, provide patient education, and office-based injections.

Position Qualifications:

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of Minnesota (MN-APRN)–OR–Current license as a Physician Assistant by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA Certification for the state of Minnesota

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Pain Management

The position is for full or part time where NP/PA can determine their own schedule within the scope of MIPM clinic hours (clinic hours Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm; Saturday option available upon discussion). Job Description

Minnesota Institute for Pain Management is a medical pain clinic with emphasis of medical and interventional spine care for patient with neck pain, low back pain and chronic pain. Our management depends on physical therapy as a part of comprehensive care.

We are in need of part time to full time physical therapist in Burnsville with potential in Roseville to support our existing and busy physical therapy unit.

Experience for two to three years is a requirement besides being able to practice in Minnesota.
